The Award winning "The Quick and the Undead"

Special thanks to everyone who came out to show their support for us this past week in Michigan at the Thriller!Chiller! film festival. "The Quick and the Undead" brought home the award for Best Special Effects!

Anyone who missed this screening will get a second chance as "The Quick and the Undead" will get a special screening along with other winners from the Thriller!Chiller! film festival on October 30 (Devils Night) at the Wealthy Theater in Grand Rapids Michigan. Some of you can't wait for the December 5th release date? Well, we have a treat for you. The Quick and the Undead will be screening at the Thriller!Chiller! film Festival in Muskegon Mi this October on Friday the 13th at 1:30 pm. Check out here for more information.

The Quick and the Undead DVD Release

Okay, this seems to be the number one question of the year. The answer is DECEMBER 5th, 2006. Anchor Bay Entertainment has picked up the dvd rights for North America and are currently planning a release for December 5th. This is always subect to change, but we are just as excited to see it out there as the rest of you.

"Within the Dark" Announced

What's next for team Quick and the Undead? Look no further. Within the Dark is the next motion picture being developed by Nott Entertainment. The screenplay was just recently finished by Gerald Nott who will also direct the film. Clint Glenn will star.

What is it about? "I wanted to do something classic. Something that scares me - The Dark, shadow people, sleep paralysis, and the unknown."

Within the Dark is currently in the development phase. A screenplay has been completed, but the film is searching for funding. It is currently planned to be shot in Northen California amongst the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The Quick and the Undead at Cannes

Thanks to everyone who has supported the film. The Quick and the Undead is currently being represented by Spotlight-Pictures at the Cannes film market. Also check out this nifty trailer for the film.

We've so far had a few test screenings for "The Quick and the Undead" All of which have garnered very positive reviews. We are now working on the final cut and are looking forward to premiering the film to the world.

Shooting dates announced for "The Quick and the Undead"

The Quick and the Undead has begun its pre-production and shooting is scheduled to begin from December 20-23 and December 27-30. A third week of production will take place in January when the production moves to Texas. The dates of this third week are TBA.

First rounds of casting complete

Thank you to all the actors who auditionedfor the Quick and the Undead. We had very promising submitions. Auditions are still underway and submissions are still being accpeted for many lead rolls. We are also excepting submissions from actors interested in appearing as zombies. Please e-mail headshots to casting@nottentertainment.com Call backs will take place the first week of December. A formal announcement to actors will take place after Thanksgiving for those we are interested in a second audition.

Sides now available for auditions

Actors who have been scheduled for auditions on Friday November 19, can now retrieve their character sides.

Casting begins for "The Quick and the Undead"
